Something New 2
Hope you like it...
Will upload a few tracks with guitar as well sometime...

Well this was a interesting weekend and had a great time sequencing... Created 3 new tracks and was pleased with the result.
I will upload one or two for anyone who cares to listen
.
Have also been making some synth patches for Blue which was quite fun. Will probably create a few more before the week ends.
Hope everyone is still busy making cool music...

Well after making a really cheesy track today I whipped out some of my Depeche Mode Albums and wondered where did the freaky 80's go.
I kinda grew up in the 80's and still fondly remember stuff like OMD and DM. Freaky cheesy synthpop was still like the new thing along with teased and permed hair for guys and really ridiculous make-up for the girls.
Ever wondered if there would be a eighties revival somewhere in the 2000's?
Anyway I got to go and make my track more cheezzy and have nostalgic flashbacks ;)

Well it has been a while since I was actively making tracks... But I have put my laziness asside and pulled my red monster (My new guitar) closer dusted of my radium and started working on some new material.
This time everything is a bit different but should still be interesting.
Composing mainly of my guitar riffs and then building the tracks around them. I find this much easier since I started using my Jamlab to record most of the riffs.
I'm also looking forward to some great collaborations with artists here on the site and some great conversations on the forums.

I have been playing around with Linux sound applications lately.
Have setup my Radium61 under Slackware 11. There seems to be alot of sound applications but you need a degree in Rocket Science to puzzle every piece of software toghether.
My conclusion today was that Linux has a very long way to go if they want to provide the same level of functionality as MS Windows sound applications.
The software synthesizers also sound very horrible compared to other MS Windows based Free Software Synthesizers.

As some of you already know.. I will become a proud dad pretty soon..
The RPM challenge did not work out too well for me because before I could master all the tracks my Speakers blew a channel making it a bit utterly difficult.
I also phucked up my car is now alot poorer than I already where and top it off I had to take my dog to the vet which also cost me a pretty penny.

Well I guess I'm starting to feel some pressure... My health is slowly deteriorating from very little sleep...
Busy practicing my vocals for the RPM tracks...
Hopefully in March I'll get some good naps in and start to normalise a bit.

Well this weekend I had a quite constructive Jam Session with the band. And just took everything at a very lazy pace.
I will probably start mixing and mastering some of the completed tracks and try figure out some lyrics for the others.
At this stage I'm a bit nervous about the RPM Challenge and hope that me and Vis will finnish on time to send in a good quality album. If not though I guess we will probably try harder next year.

Gene01 Demo Track another demo track to take a listen to...
As ussual very rough unmastered and with sucky vocals for now anyway...
Is actualy kind of an old song I wrote a while ago.. But saw this as a good opportunity to lay down a track and make this song usefull.
